Police Training

The prototyping of the proof of concept allows the police trainer to set up a situation with the tools provided and the police trainee to experience an interaction with a suspect. The trainer can choose the type of suspect and how aggressive they are, as well as what weapon they are carrying. The police officer will be able to go through the experience of interacting with the suspect and trying to resolve the situation until they make the arrest.
Lastly, The final concept has been derived from field and desk research and presented to the Stakeholders and the Dutch police academy, to ensure that it resembles the police training. evaluating the findings and the proof of concept with the police to ensure that the prototype becomes a valuable tool. Every technology has its limitations and the hardware used is no exception. However, with the advancement of technology and constant updating of the product, these limitations will be addressed and resolved.

Relaxation Scenes

The code I provided below is a script I have created for SyncVR medical to help new interns build experience scenes without writing any script. The script provided allows the developers to set up a pathing system and connect it with the Localization system for several languages. The script allows placing audio for different languages and stop points for the audio to stop and start based on collision or length of the audio file. I have developed this script to allow a faster development process for SyncVR scenes, to give hospitals variety of different environments.

We have designed this game for Syncvr.tech as our client for an Internship. Game runs on PicoVR .

Spell Caster

The game is designed for people with Chronical pain or phantom limb. The game is set in a fantasy universe, where the player uses their hand to interact with objects in the world like a magic wand that can effect objects in the world and cast spells, or the player can use alchemy to craft. The player uses the hand which is most capable of moving, and the game mirrors the Hand. As the users controls object around them, their brain adapts to the situation, and makes the user feel like the are using their phantom limb. The game is targeting to relief the user from their phantom pain.

We have designed this game for Syncvr.tech as our client for a school group project. Game runs on Oculus Quest, Rift, and Rift S VR.
Using Unity Engine
I have programmed the main interaction between the hand, wand and the environment to insure full immersion in this world. I have used collisions and Raycast to alter the environment though every interactions. I made sure that the users can interact with everything they see and cast spells to change size, color, and gravity of every object that isn't static.

FireWall Quantum

Is a Stealth/ Strategy/ Puzzle game. The game is set in a science fictional setting in Ukraine. Fire Quantum involves linear gameplay sequences. However, there are several information that can be collected; they are set for the player to get to know the lore of the environment they are exploring. The game is developed for PC where the inputs are using Keyboard and mouse. Game Summary: Eliza got caught sneaking in a company she works in “Aegis AI. Robotics”; the player has Jovany perspective view through the cameras where he needs to help Eliza escape and collect data about the company. Game Flow: The player needs to guide Eliza through the offices of Aegis while guards are trying to make sure that she can’t escape. As the player sneaks around, guards. will be roaming the offices. Jovany realizes that the doors can be hacked using wave frequencies. Thus, he has connected his MIDI keyboard to his PC and hacked his way to Aegis security system so he can project those wave frequencies to the room through the camera speakers on low level of Hertz so the human ear won’t be able to hear it to avoid alerting the guards. Eliza has to find hints on what frequencies those doors need to be unlocked. The hints are scattered across the rooms. Jovany has to insure he is sending the right frequencies using the piano. Because of he fails the Guards will be alerted and will start approaching the door to insure nothing is wrong “Maybe it’s just a rat ran into the door”. Once the player found a way to unlock the exit door, they can explore to find more information or exit the building to escape. It’s helpful that they gather as much information, so Jovany and Eliza can have evidence to expose the company.

eMotion

This is a co-operative game experience where players have to deal with their emotions, and encounter situations that can affect their emotional wellbeing. This product is a form of understanding emotions, as issued by Lentis, a healthcare institution, in which they require a playable product to be used within workshops. Within this document you can find all design elements related to this product, for a full understanding.
Emotions are difficult to teach and balance, therefore we consulted with a teacher in learning who has learned implicitly teaching methods to this audience. It is also important to include everyday activities for them to view their normal emotions such as happiness, anxiety, sadness, anger. These could be included in activities such as playing a game, going for a run, talking to someone. The method of implicit teaching can be hidden with visuals and immersion, as the explicit teaching methods are the only successful measures.

2 Player co-operative experience in which the players have to go through the cycle of the day (Bedroom, School, Grocery store, kitchen) and exit each of these locations in an escape room like manner. In order to escape each of these rooms the players must work together on balancing both of their emotional wellbeing bars, there will be puzzles implemented within the game that act as a hint for the player.

The well being bar is influenced by environmental factors, the opposite player, interacting with certain objects and random events where the bar changes.

Once the wellbeing bar is at a balanced point for both players they are able to partake in one of the three puzzles. On completion of each puzzle a secondary bar will be filled in for instant gratification. These puzzle games cannot influence the player's wellbeing bar, unless they decide to redo one of the puzzles.

Libra

Libra is a game I have designed to create awareness for the global warming issues, in which player "Libra" and explorer is living in the future "post-Apocalyptic", explores an abandoned lab and finds a mysteries object in which it will time travel her to our present "Cyberpunk". she realizes that due to our small mistakes her world is ruined, so she decides to fix those issues that causes global warming to make her home a better place.

I have designed this to present a company called EON and developed it on Unity. I have a lot of ideas for every subject and try my best to connect it to the task at hand. I enjoyed working with the team on this project because everyone is motivated which made me even more motivated. However, if the team wasn't motivated I would try my best to motivate the team, as I like to keep my team in harmony.

Story:

The world is changing so as our planet. One of the main reason is our behavior as human when it comes to the way we interact with our planet. Small actions we do daily could affect our future. Could lead our world to peace and serin life or destroy it and ruins everything we love.

Post apocalyptic life style:

In the year 2323 Libra lived on her own with her trusted bike that has been built by her using scraps of old ruined cars and metal scraps after the destruction of earth due to the effects of global warming in a deserted land.

Libra lived in an abandoned computer factory

Libra is an explorer. First thing she does once she wakes up in the morning, she grabs her broken metal cup and warms it with wood and gasoline to start fire that she collected the day before while exploring. Then walks towards her matt and grabs a broken cigaret then walks back towards the fire to light it up and smoke it until the water boils.

Then libra straps on her harness and a knife then takes her bike keys and starts riding towards a planned location to explore that she has set the day before. The location that she has planned is placed at a lab as her aim was to find leftover chemicals that she could create an alternative oil solution for her bike because fuel is very rare.

Her exploration mainly consists of getting fuel for her bike and metal scraps as well as food

Rule number one avoid people. Rule number two check your inventory space to see how much she can carry.

Day 1832 of exploration, Libra reaches to the old abandoned lab she drops her bike at a narrow corner where she can hide her bike from other explores. she usually tries to find specific rooms where she can find what she needs from there. Therefore, she starts looking for maps around the building. As she stumbles on one of the map boards which was placed at the entrance, she notices a crossed out room on the map. Libra curious nature tells her to check it out, she wonders why would anyone crosses out a room in an abandoned lab. She decides to go check it out.

The lab:

Once libra finds the room she notices that it was locked using a chain. However, the chains were rusty due to the fact that the room was locked years ago. Libra uses her knife to break the chains. She steps in apparently its long hallway that leads into a big lab with weird objects placed on the tables. One of the objects were glowing. She decides to approach it. As libra gets closer to it, it starts glowing more. Libra touches it and all of a sudden libra loses her councouse.

Cyberpunk lifestyle:

in a vertical high towers in an alternate reality where technology is the main source of knowledge and communication.

Libra gains her councouse back, she starts looking around, neon lights are everywhere sounds of cars and people conversing. She is still holding the glow object. She starts running around avoiding people. Trying to find clues where she is.. She sees a big billboard stating that live concert coming soon in 23/4/2019. Libra is shocked and confused. Why does the billboard states that coming soon in 2019, and why is she here, and how did she end up here.

Libra sneaks around walking from a street to another just to look for more clues, she realizes that sneaking is not an option so she had to fit in to find her answers. She starts looking around for something to wear to try to fit in the world. She finds a clothing shop, she walks behind the building as she did she found a van that has the back of it open, she sneaks into the van to grab some cloth, she runs away , hide, to wear what she got.

The interaction:

Libra finds an antic shop while she is exploring, she decides to go in to ask about the object she has that lead her here. She starts talking to the owner of the shop mostly just to gain his trust, as she did she starts asking about the object, the shop owner is shocked that she found it, he starts explaining that this object is a teleportation tool that is used for big container teleportation.. She wonders more, and asks . which year is: he says its 2019. She starts explaining to him that she was in the year 2323. The man noticed that she glowing teleportation machine as been modified to allow time travel.

After libra got enough information they started sharing knowledge about the different eras.

After the conversation Libra realizes that due to those actions happening in 2019. Her world in 2323 is ruined and is a mess. Then he offers her to clean up at the second floor of the shop after seeing her condition and told her she could stay at the 2’nd floor until she finds a way to save her future.

Libra decides to fix some of these problems

Libra time travels between 2019 and 2323 to fix the issues and creates a butterfly effect to fix the small issues for her world in 2323 to be better.

problems:

Loss of species :

Seventy percent of the world’s plants and animals live in forests and are losing their habitats to deforestation, according to National Geographic. Loss of habitat can lead to species extinction. It also has negative consequences for medicinal research and local populations that rely on the animals and plants in the forests for hunting and medicine.

Mobile :

Disposing mobile phones without recycling them caused a big problem. As well as the generation are mainly using mobile phones as entertainment not as awareness due to corruption of media.

Forest fires and cutting down forests:

Extreme heat is interrupting nature as well as cutting trees

Pollution:

Nuclear pollution:

Water waste

Trees are important to the water cycle. They absorb rainfall and produce water vapor that is released into the atmosphere. Trees also lessen the pollution in water, according to the North Carolina State University, by stopping polluted runoff. In the Amazon, more than half the water in the ecosystem is held within the plants, according to the National Geographic Society.

plastic

Life quality:

Many native tribes live in the rainforests of the world, and their destruction is the destruction of these peoples’ homes and way of life. For example, the film “Under the Canopy” takes a look at the Amazon rainforest and the people who live there, including an indigenous guide named Kamanja Panashekung. “Kamanja’s community is one of over 350 indigenous communities throughout Amazonia that depend on the rainforest, as we all do, for the air we breathe and the water we drink,” M. Sanjayan, Conservation International’s executive vice president and senior scientist, said in a statement. [Explore the Amazon Rainforest with New Virtual-Reality Film]

Solutions:

Pollution:

  1. Nuclear pollution
    1. Proper method of disposing radioactive waste

      1. Digging a hole in the ground is not a good solution therefore we must find a way to dispose the nuclear waste because the up coming generations will be affected by it after years.
        1. One of the solutions though its expensive is by sending those wastes away from earth, there is already plans to create a manhole for nuclear waste on the moon
    2. Banning of nuclear tests

      1. Even though half of the world are testing nuclear for power, then again it’s really hard to stop the military from testing it, in fact some testing sites are inhabitable and who ever is close to it they get diseases
    3. Alternative energy sources

      1. Renewable energy is a good replacement and less dangerous as well as they are environmentally friendly
    4. Reusing

      1. Reusing the nuclear waste is another option even with its extreme radio activity, it could be reversed engineered into something beneficial by reducing its radioactivity and used for recycled nuclear power especially with its long half life.

  1.  Water pollution
    1. Use Less Plastic:
      1. Using less plastic will help in decreasing the plastic waste into the ocean
    2. Recyclable Options:
      1. Keep recycling stuff cuz companies tend to throw them away into the ocean

    1. Use Environmentally Friendly Detergents
      1. This is one of the easy options, in fact there are organic chemicals that could be used as  detergents

    1. Conserve Soil:
      1. While farming, a lot of farmers tend to use chemicals into their soil and this water mixed will chemicals will reach to earth ground water which will cause the ground water to be toxic
    2. Plant Fauna at Lakes or Rivers:
      1. local fauna near the water. Trees are also helpful. Not only do they look beautiful when they grow, but these natural planets help protect the nearby water supply from pollution. Fauna also limits the Carbon Dioxide in the water, which balances out its pH level.

LOSS OF SPECIES SOLUTIONS

  1. Products we use in our daily lives
In order to prevent a loss of species, you should really investigate the products you purchase, such as creams or make-up. These contain parts of animals, a common example is rabbit. So by checking the brand you buy is cruelty free, you’re preventing the loss of a species.
  2. Objects as decoration
There is a huge industry for this within tourism, people think by purchasing a stag head or an elephant trunk is a symbol of wealth and culture. Yet this is contributing to killing and massacre of several endangered species. By not giving into these sellers, this market can die out easily.
  3. Purchasing food from local sources
In 2019 it is evident not everyone will turn vegan/vegetarian for the planet. Instead you should buy your produce from local farmers, they are more in touch with the environment and treating their livestock with care. Whilst mass producing industries exploit animals, such as killing, rape and torture.
  4. Joining/sponsoring wildlife sanctuaries
There are many activists who fight for animal rights, and to stop the mass brutality that happens to all animals around the world daily. By joining these teams or even donating to them, it furthermore gives one more voice; so all can be heard by higher-ups.
  5. Less waste and more recycling
People think it is okay to throw one or two items on the group/ in the ocean. But it has been proven many animals view these items as food, which choke them; causing death. Many times this happens to city creatures, and animals within the sea. You can cause death by even dropping a piece of gum.
  6. Informing others
Many people are too stubborn on this topic or don’t think of researching it. But by doing this, you’re teaching at least one more person how to act responsible with wildlife, and the goodness it gives to your carbon footprint and the environment.

Monsters

MSS is an emergent game, designed to allow the player to use their environment to help them reach the game goal. The player choses a monster to play as, and the monsters want to try to reach to the human. However, the human is high up. Therefore, the monsters use several objects that could be sticky, heavy, or slippery and leavers to reach to their goal.

I was the only coder in the project, so I have programmed the grapping mechanics, interactions and environmental events.

SMUG

The game revolves around players actions. The player goes through several seniors that might help prevent global warming or cause a toxic environment. The player starts their gameplay as a rabbit in their home, where they need to watch out if they keep several house items are turned on without a reason, or use something that might harm the environment and what would the effect of that the next day. the way the game is set, every day represents 20 years in real time.

I was the main programmer of the project, I have set the main game mechanic and all the interactions with the environment and its after effects.

Once Upon A Pun

Is a game made in 48 hours during the Global game jam in Groningen, that revolves around transforming memories to be presented in a visual way, why we chose memories? Our assignment was to build a game that connects the layer to their home.

I was developing the game with two other developers on Game maker studio 2. My main task was to make sure all the code is correct and working when combined as well as code and design the puzzle room. Working with new team on every project is a challenge that I would like to take and I find it fun, especially when it comes to sharing knowledge and skills.

SOL is an adventure International communication game, where the player wakes up in a cave then meets a statue that wants him to collect artifacts so VON could go back to his home by traveling the world to explore different cultures to learn about it and solve puzzles.

Getting the team engaged in the project is one of my strength, even though I was the developer/ designer. As the lead designer and Developer I have worked with a team of 4, my main role in the project was to make sure the game works on Game Maker Studio 2, as well as make sure that the concept is correctly implemented. I have Level designed and coded the game rooms, the puzzle rooms, player interactions, as well as conversations between the player and the None playable characters
